I did the same - deleted most of my posts - after I've changed my spiritual views. Though I felt like born anew, my readers took it very negatively.

Although I don't regret having done that, would I know that my readers would be so attached to my content, I would have left it.

So just a note from experience - your followers or clients may take the change very negatively.
